Chilean extra virgin avocado oil is free of cholesterol and trans fats. The oil has a high level of monounsaturated fatty acids, mainly oleic acid, which help lower levels of unhealthy LDL-cholesterol in the body, and increase levels of healthy HDL-cholesterol, while aiding the body’s digestion of omega-3 fatty acids from other foods, so helping to prevent heart disease, cancer, Alzheimer’s, obesity and diabetes.
